Evergreen USA, RRG, Inc., is one of the oldest operating insurance program for campground and RV park owners. The company provides insurance coverage exclusively to the outdoor recreation industry. Formed in 1989, Evergreen is the only company operated for and by the outdoor recreation industry.
It was estimated that the combined annual mileage of Evergreen employees is 70,000 to and from work. So as a company intiative starting in April 1, 2010, the employees made it their mission to find alternatives to driving, whether it’s carpooling, walking, biking… or cross country skiing. It is Evergreen’s goal in the first year to reduce the amount of miles driven by 10 percent.
