Boat thefts fell in 2011, but jet skis are still a favored target

The number of watercraft stolen in the U.S. fell from 2010 to 2011, according to an annual report by the National Insurance Crime Bureau on boat thefts and recoveries.  The report examined watercraft reported stolen between January 1 and December 31, 2011 and includes everything from canoes and dinghies to commercial ferry and oyster boats.
